Microsoft-backed Space and Time has launched Dreamspace, an AI-driven, no-code builder that aims to put on-chain app creation within reach of anyone who can type a prompt. The platform promises to generate complete, deployable blockchain applications — including smart contract logic — from simple natural-language instructions.
Under the hood Dreamspace leverages Microsoft’s stack (Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI) and runs on Base, giving users access to low-cost on-chain transactions with fees under one cent and near-instant settlement. The integration with Space and Time’s verifiable data layer means apps created on the platform can rely on trusted, auditable data records — a key requirement for real-world blockchain use cases.
Space and Time says each smart contract Dreamspace generates is fully auditable, enabling creators to inspect how contracts behave before pushing them live. That transparency, together with the company’s emphasis on verifiable data infrastructure, is designed to lower the trust and technical hurdles for builders, businesses and students.
Nate Holiday, Space and Time co-founder and Dreamspace creator, framed the product as the meeting point between infrastructure and creators: “Space and Time was built to make verifiable data accessible to any application, at any scale,” he said. “Dreamspace is where that infrastructure meets the people building the next wave of the internet. When the data layer handles itself, the only thing left to focus on is what you want to create.”
The launch follows Space and Time’s broader partnership with Microsoft: M12, Microsoft’s venture fund, led a $20 million investment in the startup in 2022. Dreamspace’s beta recorded strong early traction, with more than 34,000 apps created by testers — a sign of demand for tools that reduce coding barriers in Web3. The platform is also being used in education initiatives, including AI labs and curriculum projects in Indonesia that aim to reach over 140,000 students.
